Black Sunday: Cypress Hill is certainly one of the most influential and gifted hip hop groups in America. A sold out tour followed with spontaneous singalongs and writhing mosh pits at each stop. Songs like first single Panic" (a Top 5 Modern Rock hit), Take It Or Leave," and You Better Listen" are reminiscent of classic Sublime, while tunes like Lover's Rock" and Murdera" pick up in the reggae dancehall style the band had begun investigating in 1996. Not that the parties of Cypress Hill were much like Jim Walsh's.
